Veteran Digital Media Executive to Guide Next Phase of Growth for Leading Dynamic Ad Insertion Platform for Downloadable Media

SAN FRANCISCO, CA, Sept. 12, 2007 - Kiptronic, the leading technology platform for downloadable media, today announced that Bill Loewenthal has joined the company as President and Chief Executive Officer. He will also join Kiptronic's Board of Directors.

Founder and current CEO Jonathan Cobb will remain with the company as Chief Technology Officer. Cobb will continue to focus on Kiptronic's key technologies, strategic partnerships and business development activities. Cobb will also remain on Kiptronic's Board of Directors.

Loewenthal brings an exceptional set of applicable senior management skills to lead Kiptronic's growth, particularly in sales, marketing, and business development for technology-based digital media companies.

"With Kiptronic ascending to its next phase of growth, I was looking for a specific set of characteristics: Extensive management experience, digital media technology fluency, and, above all, a passion for our industry. I found all of these qualities in Bill Loewenthal and we're excited to add him to the team," said Cobb.

Loewenthal's background includes early stage startup and large companies involved with the delivery of on-demand digital media, subscription services, software licensing and solutions for content owners and service providers. Most recently, Loewenthal served as Vice President and General Manager of the ReplayTV business unit at D&M Holdings. While at ReplayTV, he restructured the business to focus on software and services and created pivotal relationships for the company.

"My background in on-demand media, the explosive growth in this market and the team already in place here made joining Kiptronic an easy decision," Loewenthal said. "Kiptronic's non-intrusive, easy-to-integrate technology is the right business model for our media customers. I'm excited about the opportunity and look forward to taking Kiptronic to the next level of growth."

Prior to ReplayTV, Loewenthal was one of the first management team members at Command Audio, an on-demand media technology company, which raised over $80 million from Tier 1 venture funds and strategic investors.

Kiptronic provides an ad insertion and campaign management technology platform as a service to leading rich media publishers. The company allows rich media content producers to dynamically schedule, insert and track pre-roll, mid-roll and post-roll video and audio ads within content. Kiptronic's unique approach allows publishers to continue to deliver content to users as they always have, while maximizing revenue from their libraries of programming.

Online video advertising in the U.S. alone is expected to be a $4.3 billion opportunity by 2011, according to market researcher eMarketer.

"Kiptronic has a significant opportunity in front of it as more consumers make rich media content part of their day - Whether on their disconnected device or when they're online," said Paul O'Brien, Kiptronic board member and Prism VentureWorks Venture Partner. "The market is exploding by any measure, and based on customer interest in Kiptronic's technology, they're the right company to solve the problem of monetizing rich media content. I'm excited by Bill's management experience and look forward to my continued work with the Kiptronic team."
