SAN FRANCISCO, CA, Apr. 9, 2008 – Kiptronic, the leader in dynamic ad insertion for video and audio content distributed using the Internet, today announced that it has integrated its technology into Adobe® Media Player, the next-generation desktop media player that launched today, bringing significant benefit to mutual customers.
Kiptronic's Media Services Platform and OpsCenter management tools will be integrated with Adobe Media Player, allowing digital media publishers to take advantage of the player’s enhanced advertising and reporting features. This integration will continue to allow publishers to produce and distribute video and audio content as they always have, while providing new opportunities for content tracking and monetization.
Key features of the integration of Kiptronic’s dynamic ad insertion technology with Adobe Media Player include:
- A seamless experience for the publisher – They can continue to produce content as they always have even as they extend their brand to Adobe Media Player
- Automatic detection of content – When a media request is made to Adobe Media Player, Kiptronic can detect this and adjust the response accordingly to take advantage of the unique ad-serving capabilities and enhanced feature set of Adobe Media Player
- Ease of integration – Publishers with large libraries of video in the Adobe Flash® format can easily extend their monetization capabilities by activating the Kiptronic service through their content delivery network (CDN) account
Kiptronic allows content producers to monetize video and audio assets by dynamically scheduling, inserting and tracking advertising campaigns across their content libraries, deriving a new revenue stream from existing assets.
"Adobe Media Player delivers more engaging video and audio experiences to viewers while offering content publishers new abilities to track and build businesses around their media assets," said Jennifer Taylor, group product manager, Flash authoring and distribution at Adobe. "Adobe Media Player and Kiptronic’s dynamic ad insertion technologies are a winning combination for publishers looking for new ways to manage, measure, and monetize their content."
