Bill Loewenthal, President and Chief Executive

Bill brings a keen operations and business savvy to Kiptronic. His career in technology spans more than 20 years, working at early stage startup and large companies involved with the delivery of on-demand digital media, subscription services, software licensing and solutions for content owners and service providers. Most recently, Bill served as Vice President and General Manager of the ReplayTV business unit at D&M Holdings.

While at ReplayTV, he restructured the business to focus on software and services and created pivotal relationships for the company. Prior to ReplayTV, Bill was one of the first management team members at Command Audio, an on-demand media technology company, which raised over $80 million from Tier 1 venture funds and strategic investors. Jonathan Cobb, Founder and Chief Technology Officer

Jonathan is the technology visionary and heart and soul of Kiptronic. Initial work on Kiptronic started for him in 2004, with the help of a lot of coffee, energy drinks, sleepless nights, and a highly tuned notion of where media consumption was heading. Jonathan's passion drove the first iterations of Kiptronic, from angel-funding to venture-funded company.

He has held numerous senior engineering positions in a number of Silicon Valley startups, most recently as Senior Software Architect for Covalent Technologies, an enterprise-class software and services company. He has also played integral roles in founding and running several start-ups including Hyperic Software, producers of HQ, a popular IT management software system. Sandy Shanman, Senior Vice President of Sales

Sandy brings to the Kiptronic team extensive experience and success in sales and brand development. Shanman joins Kiptronic from Quattro Wireless where he served as Vice President of Sales. There he oversaw all initiatives that enabled advertisers and publishers to quickly build, manage and extend their brand to the mobile channel. Shanman previously served as Vice President, Advertising Sales for Advertising.com, a subsidiary of AOL Time Warner, the largest interactive advertising network serving over 40 billion impressions monthly across over 60 of Com–Score’s top 100 publishers. There he was responsible for $120 million in advertising revenue throughout the Northeast, Midwest and Canada. Prior to Advertising.com, Sandy played a critical role in the turn–around strategy for Homestore, Inc., now Move, Inc., as Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships. Sandy holds a BA in Communication, Media Studies from California State University, Chico.

David Rowley, Vice President of Engineering

Dave is charged with driving continued innovation for the Kiptronic platform. He brings to Kiptronic over 23 years of experience in organizations building Web and enterprise infrastructure, rich internet applications and scientific computing systems. Prior to Kiptronic, Dave was the CTO and VP of Engineering for SNOCAP, a music rights management company started by Napster founder Shawn Fanning. Before that, he was Vice President of Engineering at Kenamea, Inc., contributing to the development of Kenamea's pioneering internet messaging infrastructure. He has held senior management positions at Fair Isaac, Varian, Inc., and scientific engineering positions at Bio–Rad Laboratories and American Edwards Laboratories. He holds a B.S. degree in Information and Computer Science from the University of California, Irvine.
